Chemical composition: alkyl dimethyl hydroxyethyl quaternary ammonium nitrate

Type: Cationic

Appearance: Red brown transparent viscous liquid (25 ℃)

p H values: 6.0 to 8.0 (1% solution, 20 ℃) 
Quaternary ammonium salt: ≥ 50%

 

[Performance] 
1, cationic surfactant, is soluble in water at room temperature and acetone, butanol, benzene, chloroform, dimethylformamide, dioxane, ethylene glycol, methyl (ethyl or butyl), celluloid and the solvent acetic acid and water, at 50 ℃ soluble in carbon tetrachloride, dichloroethane, and styrene. 
2 stable in 5% of dilute acid or base, decomposed when the temperature increased to 180 ℃ . 
3, can mix with cationic, nonionic surfactant, not bath with anionic surfactant.

 

[Uses]
1, suitable for polyester, nylon, polyvinyl chloride and other synthetic fiber for the elimination of static, can offer excellent antistatic effect. Antistatic Agent SN may be used alone, or work with non-anionic surfactant, oils and emulsifiers to formulate as an aqueous solution, the dosage generally is 0.2 to 0.5% of weight of fiber. 
2, can be used as levelling dyeing agent of polyacrylonitrile. 
3, used in the plastics industry to eliminate the static of plastic products; can be used as the static elimination agent of polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene film and plastic products. The recommended dosage is generally 0.5 to 2% by the weight of plastic.

4, used in the production of nitrile rubber as the static elimination agent of spinning roller. 
5, static elimination agent of Silk. 
6, base reduction accelerator of polyester-imitating silk fabric.
